I haven’t seen anything on this from either DAZ3D or Smith Micro. Note that is just one of the things blocking a DSON version, though it is the most obvious. To even attempt a DSON version would require Poser support industry standard dual quaternion skinning, which is how Genesis 3 is rigged. According to a comment on this Renderosity thread, it would require some non-trivial updates from Poser. I do not know what the actual details are for figure compatibility here. At the current moment, Victoria 7 and Genesis 3 are not supported in Poser. If you look at the Victoria 7 product page, only DAZ Studio 4.8 is listed in Compatible Software. Spend more bucks rebuilding character, pose, and expression libraryĮven though the startup cost is not too great, there is no denying that we would need to spend additional money getting characters, poses, and expressions that are designed for G3F, to get the best results. It is still early though, so perhaps converters will be created for these at some later date. Not surprisingly, old generation skins and character morphs are not going to transfer. Old poses need to be converted, and those will not work as well as the original. If you want even more accurate hands, we discovered that the G1 to G2 hand preset from Handy Dandy (for Genesis2) works really well on the converted poses for Genesis3. Not surprisingly, I get the best results when using poses that are crafted for V7.Ī useful tip that I got from this Daz Forum thread is that – As a result, I need to manually get the arms into the right position myself, which takes up more time. Balance the competing interests in your society and earn your place in the sun in Victoria 3, one of the most anticipated games in Paradox’s history. I prefer the results that I get when I do not unlock the ZForearm (Z-unlock). Paradox Development Studio invites you to build your ideal society in the tumult of the exciting and transformative 19th century. I usually need to tweak each converted pose that I use, some more than others. However, as expected, the converted poses will not work as well as the original. Therefore, with these two converters, we can ultimately transfer V4 poses for use in G3F. In addition, Zev0 is working on a batch converter for V4 poses into G2F. However, there are already two different converters (one by Zev0 & Draagonstorm, and another by 3D-Universe) that allow us to easily upgrade our G2F poses for use in G3F. Old poses need to be convertedīecause of changes in the rigging structure of Genesis 3 figures, old poses will generally *not* work very well. No other Poser character types can be used with the Transformer feature.Victoria 7 – The Bad 1. Which characters are you trying to import into Character Creator 3 Pipeline? Only Victoria 3, 4 or Michael 3, 4 are currently supported. Now, please, does any one have overcome this issues? I have a LOT of Poser Stuff and will be really nice to port them to my Reallusion Libs. Hi, Im trying to use Poser assets into my Character Generator, I Followed the instructions but get this error: " Failed to load Character: No suitable setup profile found.Click More to check the compatibility test.", I can see that Reallusion tend to show off marvelous uncomplicated sw in its videos and the real fact its that you will encounter quite few technical challenges and issues. Is there a tutorial for those? cheers Aldo Also, I have clothes, glasses and a bunch of props and assets. Īll the cartoon models that comes with the latest poser (11). Please see the tutorial below for help with this. Then you can use the Create > Accessory option in CC3 to import them. For clothing, hair and accessories just export them from Poser as OBJ files. With Daz Studio you can use the Transformer feature to convert Daz Genesis 1, 2, 3 and 8 characters. Overall you will find greater support for Daz Studio Genesis characters. However, you could use 3DXchange 7 Pipeline to convert them as non-standard characters for use in iClone 7. You can't convert the other Poser default characters that come with the software using CC3. As I mentioned previously only Victoria 3, 4 and Michael 3, 4 are supported by the Transformer feature in Character Creator 3 Pipeline.
